With Halloween just around the corner, it's time to put on that witch's hat and get into the spooky spirit. If you are planning on throwing a party then this is the right time to go shopping.
Experts at British online marketplace Onbuy.com looked at the prices for the cheapest Halloween products that you'll need for celebrating. They looked into the supermarkets own brand products, or if not available the cheapest alternative products by a different brand. The supermarkets analysed were: Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Sainsbury's and the data was taken from the products available at the beginning of October 2019.

While both Asda and Sainsbury's were the supermarkets featuring all the products, Asda has proven to be the cheaper alternative , with a Halloween Shop costing £25.29 less than Sainsbury's.
This could be due to the fact that Sainsbury's brand clothing line TU, is on the more expensive side, with the cheapest adult Halloween costume totalling £20.
The best supermarket to do your Halloween shop is Tesco. Doing your shopping there would save you a whopping £32, if you were to compare it to the most expensive suermarket for those particular products, Sainsbury's.
If you have the time and the patience to make the cheapest spooky shop and pick the items with the lowest price from each category, that will save you even more! £33.29 to be precise, making the total price £24.71.
