Hoo Zoo is a family run zoo nestling in 32 acres of woodland and paddocks in the heart of rural Shropshire. The farm itself is possibly 200 years old and over the years has been a dairy farm, Christmas tree nursery an award winning farm attraction, but most of all it has been a happy home to the Dorrell family since 1988.
LEMUR FOREST
Lemur Forest is the home to our family of Ring-Tailed Lemurs. Come and walk amongst them in their woodland through our lemur walk. The walk is open holidays and weekends from March – October (except for in severe weather).
ANIMALS OF THE WORLD
The home of Shropshire’s Big Cats. Come along and visit our Big Cats and other fantastic creatures, if you really want to get up close and personal book one of our experiences.
HOO-RASIC WORLD
Step back over 250 million years to a time before Dinosaurs. Through our woodland walk encounter over 30 moving Dino’s and other beasts as you learn all about these amazing creatures.
WOLF WOODS
Walk down into our Wolf Woods to see not just our Wolves but Deer, Cockatoos and even our walkthrough Wallaby enclosure. There is also a wild Badger Sett in this area whose inhabitants occasionally make an appearance!

Autumn wouldn't be complete without a trip to Staffordshire's biggest pumpkin patch – and this year's event at Lower Drayton Farm promises more pumpkins, more fun, and more magical memories than ever before!
Wander through acres of pumpkin fields to pick your perfect pumpkin – with one included in every ticket – or, if you'd rather stay cosy, head to the indoor Pumpkin Village for a ready-to-go selection. Little farmers can explore the pick-your-own veg patch, make the most of the pumpkin patch play area, meet the farm's friendly animals, and even graduate from the magical Witch School. With a massive indoor carving barn and tasty seasonal treats from the pop-up Pumpkin Café, it's the ultimate autumn day out – whatever the weather.

Hard Rock Cafe Manchester summons 'spook-tacular' Lil' Monster's Ball event and limited time menu this Halloween Hard Rock Cafe Manchester is summoning a spine-tingling treat this Halloween season with limited time menu items and a 'fa-boo-lous' breakfast feast for their popular Lil' Monster's Ball event.
Between 21st October - 2nd November, guests can thrill their taste buds with the devilishly delicious BOOberry Smash Burger, curated with Applewood Bacon, Creamy Brie Cheese, Crispy Shoestring Onions, and a Blueberry Chipotle sauce; and quench their thirst with the BOOberry Zombie Beverage, made with blueberries, Barcardi superior rum, triple sec, pineapple juice, lime juice and simple syrup.
Collectors and Hard Rock fans can also get their hands on a limited edition Halloween-themed pin from the on-site Rock Shop.
What's more, between 9am-11am on Sunday 26th October, little monsters can tuck into an all-American breakfast buffet at the restaurant's Lil' Monster's Ball event and enjoy the family-fun entertainment including creepy face painting, ghoulish games and more.
Dressing up is strongly advised to be fully immersed in the party, 'mummies' and dads included! Wacky witches, spooky skeletons, and wild werewolves are all welcome.
Adults tickets are £19.95 and tickets for children (aged 3-16) are just £13.95 for unlimited breakfast favourites and Halloween-themed entertainment. Under 2's go free!

This October half-term, The Darwin is the place to be for spooky, family-friendly fun. Families can enjoy a fantastic mix of free Halloween activities and the return of the much-loved Skeleton Hunt

Get your little monsters moving at our Kids’ Halloween Disco, hosted by the amazing Charlotte from Diddi Dance! Perfect for children aged 2 to 8, this fun-filled event will take place in our spooky barn and will be packed with music, dancing, and spooky surprises.
