It's always a pleasure to visit the beautiful Weston Park so we were thrilled to be invited to experience Enchanted Weston.
It was a really cold crisp night which added to the atmosphere even more. We visited the courtyard before heading off around the woods where we found a variety of food & drink vendors serving up a treat from hot chocolates, mulled wines, and other hot drinks to Asian and Jamaican foods to Jumbo marshmallows to toast on the open fires.
There were activities for the kids such as decorating gingerbread men or gingerbread trees, face painting, hair accessories for sale.
It was lovely to take a seat in the open marquee listening to the fantastic live festive music over a hot drink and snack (the Jamaican dumplings are highly recommended).
The woodland walk is beautifully, gently lit with a colourful wash and plenty of activities for the children to try out along the way including projecting your own face onto a tree for all to see, bubbles and more!!
Hidden deep into the woods is the cosy snug Magic teapot and bar where you can stop for a warm around the outdoor open fire by the bar or step inside the magic teapot for a warm around the fire and some refreshments. The mulled wine was a perfect warming tipple!!
It truly is a beautiful walk to enjoy with family and friends of all ages and the woods are filled with stunning displays, colourful umbrellas surround the lake and theres even a large moon light sat aside the lake. There are some truly beautiful photo oportunities along the way.
What would have made the experience even better for the children would be the addition of a santa grotto in the middle of the woods, this would be the icing on the cake for this beautiful walk.
