Our Verdict

BinaryBots™ BBC micro:bit robot

The future for our children is computers and programming. Everything we use in a modern world revolves somewhere along the line around computers, so starting your children off early into the world of tech can't be a bad thing surely. This educational toy brings electronics, programming and fun to your child's learning and play.

The kit comes with a microprocessor board (designed for schools from the BBC), robot parts and other accessories and sensors to start your projects. It has a simple language for younger ones to discover programming and an advanced language for old more confident children. The simple language has plenty of little projects and makes coding easy and fun.

The website is packed with information, activities, videos and there is also an app for android and iOS devices for you to download. The activities section gives you fun projects to complete and you can look at some of the other great products they have on offer too.

Overall a great way to start making computing a fun and interesting way to build little minds.
