PYO Pumpkins at Lower Drayton Farm

uploaded picture

For a wholesome autumn adventure the whole family will love, head to Pumpkins at Lower Drayton Farm, where visitors can pick their pumpkins right where they have been grown.

Set on a working 750-acre farm in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside, this popular seasonal experience returns with a fresh new format for 2026. Families can hop aboard the tractor and trailer for a ride out to the pumpkin patch, explore the rows and choose their perfect pumpkin before heading back to the undercover carving barn to get creative – leaving all the mess behind at the farm!

There will be pumpkins of all shapes, shades and sizes to discover, together with plenty of colourful seasonal photo opportunities. Depending on the ticket selected, visitors can also harvest a bag of fresh vegetables grown on the farm, creating a brilliantly hands-on opportunity for children to discover where their food comes from.

The experience takes place on selected dates from late September and throughout October, including daytime sessions and atmospheric Friday evenings. Located between Stafford and Penkridge, just one mile from Junction 13 of the M6, Lower Drayton Farm is easy to reach from across Staffordshire and the wider West Midlands.

Tickets start from just £6 per person, with a choice of options available. Premium tickets include a pumpkin and a bag of freshly harvested vegetables, while a ticket without produce is also available.

Please note that entry to the main PLAY@ farm attraction is not included with PYO Pumpkins tickets.
