Iceland Celebrates 55 Years With Giveawaya And Birthday Treats In Oswestry

ICELAND CELEBRATES 55 YEARS WITH GIVEAWAYS AND BIRTHDAY TREATS IN OSWESTRY 

Iceland Foods is celebrating its 55th birthday with a special giveaway event for shoppers at its Oswestry store on Tuesday 18th November. 

From 9am, the first 55 customers in the queue will receive an Iceland gift card worth between £10 and £55, totalling £1,550 in giveaways. 

Throughout the day, customers who scan their Bonus Club app or card in-store will also be automatically entered into a draw offering 55 chances to win £55. Terms and conditions apply*.  

Oswestry holds a special place in Iceland's history as the location of the very first Iceland store, which opened in 1970.  

The 55th birthday event celebrates more than five decades of bringing value, quality and everyday essentials to families across the UK. 

Oswestry will be kicking off celebrations with birthday cupcakes for all shoppers, as well as Iceland's Luxury All Butter Mince Pies – crowned Taste Test Winner 2025 by The Good Housekeeping Institute – which will be handed out while stocks last. 

There will also be additional supplier giveaways from much-loved household brands including Warburtons and Pepsi.
