Camp Bestival say Thank you for coming and wish farewell to Shropshire with a bang....Until next year

Where do we even begin.... How lucky are we here in Shropshire that Camp Bestival chose to bring its family festival of dreams to our doorstep?

Fresh of the heels of Camp Bestival Dorset, the extraordinary festival was packed up and transported over 200 miles to the outstandingly beautiful grounds of Weston Park in Shropshire where it delivered its first ever Camp Bestival Shropshire.

Families, couples and friends travelled from all over the UK, some even fresh from attending sister site Lulworth Castle just weeks before to experience the very first glimpse of what was to come for Shropshire, Camp Bestival very much delivered in style.

Sunday brought Fantastic Kids entertainment to the Park Stage from Cosmic Kids Yoga (something most of us parents came familiar with during lockdown), Horrible Histories - Terrible Tudors, Big Fish Little Fish Family rave and the legend that is Mr Motivator!! amongst many other amazing acts Comedy Club for kids and Dom Jolly took to the Big Top stage whilst the Bollywood arena hosting fantastic entertainment from Rascal Raves to Chill Out sessions.  The Pigs Ballroom hosted an all day and night line up and Bigtop Manias highlights included workshops and shows accumilating to the super popular Kids talent show where children performed all kinds of fantastic acts with lots of gymnastics, dancing, singing, comedy and even rubix cube speed solving.

As the evening kicked off a variety of artists, performers and attractions performed over the many stages and arenas scattered throughout the site with dub pistols and Shed Seven paving the way for absolutely mind blowing incredible performances from Faithless (Sister Bliss) and headline act Rag N Bone Man on the main park stage.

We'd like to thank every single family for making the weekend so special from watching you jump in the lake, fall off a paddleboard, lounge in a hot tub, watch the circus in awe, learn a new skill, watch an act you've never heard of and been blown away or fall in love with Fatboy Slim all over again

We've received such a warm welcome from all the new faces we've met and have genuinely loved meeting each and every one of you.

An amazing firework and lights show rounded off a truly amazing weekend with the stunning Weston Parks stately home lit up as the backdrop.
