Fancy dress parade and surprise celebrity appearances on day three of Camp Bestival Shropshire

Pop queen Paloma Faith headlined with an explosive set of hit after hit, wearing a white two piece with a red faux fur coat. 

Mr Tumble entertained crowds of children at the Park Stage, before making a surprise guest appearance in the Camp Bestival CBeebies Bedtime Story Tent  reading a special CBeebies Bedtime Story.

BBC Radio 2 DJ and presenter, Sara Cox led Saturday’s Fancy Dress Parade under the eyes of Love Bot, with hundreds of families taking part in the time travel spectacle. From vikings to The Beatles, families came out in full force to celebrate 2024’s Time Travel theme, one lucky family were crowned winners and won a family ticket to next year’s festival

ITV’s Josie Gibson led a Camp Kids TV workshop for aspiring young presenters to learn tips and tricks from the This Morning presenter

Josie Gibson jumped on the Park Stage to join Gok Wan for her debut DJ set in front of thousands of revellers

TV Presenter Kate Garraway was also in attendance on the fields of Weston Park enjoying the festivities with her family

Other acts on the day included The Darkness, Jake Shears and Mister Maker with Utah Saints, Dick & Dom and Flowerovlove The weekend is set to see over 350 artists and acts perform across the festival. 

Camp Bestival Shropshire’s final day (Sunday, 18th August) will welcome Faithless to Weston Park for a rare festival appearance and one of their only live shows for 2024. Their full live band will be incorporating music old and new including a homage to Maxi and a celebration of all that is wonderful about the genre they redefined. Fireworks will also close the show!
