If you had told me this time last year we would all be wearing face masks for Christmas this year, I would have thought you were totally bonkers.... never the less, here we are!!!
If we have to wear a face covering we might as well make it fun, especially when it comes to children. i know with my children if its a design they like they are much more inclined to want to wear it.
This kit is fantastic!! I have absolutely no sewing skills whatsoever, this was no problem for this kit as no sewing at all is required. The kit comes with enough materials to make 4 masks to fit either adults or children and you can pick a choice of 2 styles, pleated or plain so something to suit everyone.
I set about designing a mask for my son and I was amazed how easy it was, he wanted a mask making with his gaming name tag on, so all we did was take a photo of his logo using the app provided and chose a design (in this case the logo in a tiled pattern). Follow the really simple instructions and print.
I have never used my basic home printer to print onto material before so again this was new to me and I was really pleased with the quality of print. The instructions from there are really easy to follow and all materials are provided. Its simply a case of placing the supplied wonder web in the appropriate places and iron to secure!! They even come with metal shapeable nose strips for an even better fit.
The only part i did have difficulty with was getting the ear loop elastics to secure with wonder web so i did result to sewing these in place but that was really easy to do.
Such a great little kit that's also fun to make for the family too.
Who knew a family afternoon mask making could be so much fun!!
